1. Who handles your data
Alexandru Martin operates this site under the martinalexandru.com brand and is responsible for your personal data. If you have questions about your data, email contact@martinalexandru.com.
2. What I collect
When you submit the contact form, I may receive your name, email address, phone number, message and any other information you choose to share. If you accept analytics cookies, the site may collect technical and usage data, such as the pages you visit, your device type, how you reached the site and clicks on contact buttons.
3. Why I use your data
- To answer your enquiry and prepare for a possible working relationship, taking steps at your request.
- To protect the contact form and prevent abuse, based on legitimate interests.
- To measure site traffic, with your consent to analytics.
4. Services that may process data
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Contact form messages may be stored in Supabase. When analytics is configured and you have accepted it, Google Analytics and PostHog process usage data. PostHog uses its EU region. These providers act as data processors or independent controllers under their own terms and data transfer safeguards.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions for bots to keep the form secure, without tracking you.
5. How long I keep data
I keep contact details for as long as needed to respond, normally no longer than 24 months after our last interaction. A legal obligation may require a different period. Analytics data follows the retention settings in Google Analytics and PostHog.
6. Cookies and your preferences
The site does not load Google Analytics or PostHog before you select “Accept”. Your choice is saved locally in your browser under ma-consent-v1. If analytics is enabled, Google may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, and PostHog may store its own analytics identifiers. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
7. Your rights
You can request access to your data, corrections, deletion, restricted processing or a portable copy, and object to certain uses of your data. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it. You can also complain to Romania's National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).
8. Contact
For privacy requests, email contact@martinalexandru.com. I will respond as soon as I can, within the time limits required by law.
